LED dash bulbs question

Will these fit the sockets that light up the gauges on my 72?

Re: LED dash bulbs question

I've bought and used these one several times:

Amazon.com: 10x 194 168 2825 5-SMD White High... Amazon.com: 10x 194 168 2825 5-SMD White High...
They are bright, but any brighter and they'd be too much. You can't adjust the brightness the way you can with regular bulbs (or maybe there's a way to set it up that I just haven't researched yet).

Re: LED dash bulbs question

And remember that the LED bulbs are polarity sensitive. If you plug one in and don't get any light, rotate it 180 degrees and it'll work.

Those should be plenty bright, I put these in my 72: WLED-AHP5.

Here's what they look like:

PS: That is with white face gauges though...

Re: LED dash bulbs question

Used led's in my 71 c10's dash & the light made guages easier to see etc. Whiter vs the yellowish.

I took that link directly from the my previous orders history, and I ordered them specifically to use in my 67-72 truck, so I can confidently say the one I linked will work. I was a little concerned about it too but went ahead and tried them. Worked just fine.

I bought the 50 Led's from amazon and they are longer than the factory bulbs, but fit the "194 Wedge Base" just fine, I even used some for the dash in my '99 Camaro and no fit problems, just have to make sure they are installed for correct polarity, meaning if they don't light up, just take them out, turn them 180 degrees and that should do the trick. Mine work just fine.....
