Need brake line help
Building the truck from the ground up and threw away all the old hard lines. Now I need to run new lines. What size should I run? Truck is a 70 SWB with 4 wheel disc. I was thinking 3/16ths but maybe I need 1/4 with the disc? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would run 3/16" to all 4 wheels.

Same for me, I've always run 3/16 line front and rear on all the street rods I've built or done brake conversions on.

I think from the proportioning valve to the rubber flex line at the rear end is 1/4 then 3/16 to the two wheels. I could be wrong. If nobody confirms it either way I'll look at my truck tomorrow.

For drum brakes it doesn't matter that much, for discs which have a higher -volume- sometimes people like 1/4" line. Remember pressure is pressure, no matter if your line goes to a full 45 gallon drum of brake fluid on the passenger seat and then back out to the brakes.
Not that a 45 gallon drum would firmly hold 1500psi, but you get the idea.

I bought a nice pre bent brake line kit for my whole pickup from inline tube. check them out, it was super easy to do and pretty cheap too.
