"Thick" Window Channel
I have a 50 3100 that I am rebuilding. Really would like to eliminte the metal wrap on the door windows. Does someone sell a thicker window channel that would allow this to be removed and still fit the glass snugly?

Re: "Thick" Window Channel
I've gotten it though local glass shops before but there are online suppliers that sell it and show the dimensions.
I see Rock auto shows glass channel but you have to figure out the measurements http://www.rockauto.com/en/tools/bod...+channel,12412 Rock auto says this one but the 5/8 doesn't sound right. http://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo....6744&jsn=10545 This is Rock Auto's source https://www.metrommp.com/?f=part_lis...%26%20Sweepers I'd still check local sources as they want 20.00 extra for shipping to ship the channel and you may come out way ahead by paying a bit more locally. Check around the area for old long time in business glass shops rather then the quicky slap a windshield in your late model places.
