Old Air Products Glovebox Pic

Hi Guys,

Installing an old air products unit in my truck and i need a picture of the ABS glove box install, i'm having trouble wrapping my brain around where the plastic sits in relation to the metal tabs of the dash. Thanks!

Re: Old Air Products Glovebox Pic

Thanks. Looks like everything sits in the inside of the metal tabs. Could you tell me if that's true for the top as well?

Yes, if you look at the first pic I posted you can see how it all fits around the outer edge of the opening. I don't know if it's correct but that's how it fit best on mine, hope this helps you.

Re: Old Air Products Glovebox Pic

I installed my Vintage Air glove box just as the original cardboard one was. It went behind some of the tabs, and in front of others. The tabs that it went behind, like the side ones, have no j-nuts, and need the glove box behind them for the screws to secure into. I think this is the case for the upper row as well. Not saying you couldn't do it as shown above, but it seems to make sense to put it back the same way it originally was.
