HELP me decide
So finally after 5 years of owning my 1970 C20 I have a chance to air bag it.
I'm looking at buying everything from Travis at AZ Pro Performance this Friday. The kit comes with the D2600 bags but I was thinking of swapping them out for some SS-7 bags. My truck currently has a static drop or about 4" up front and 5" in the rear with just coils. No drop spindles up front or blocks in the rear. I have already removed my front bump stop/steering stop from my LCA because I was bottoming out on them. What I'm after is a ride height about the same or maybe an inch higher due to our crappy roads. I think it will all depend what it feels like driving and ride height will end up being what drives best. But parked and at shows, I would like it to sit lower than it does now. Not laying frame but maybe a couple inches lower. Choosing the bags is the biggest problem right now and I'm guessing I will have to modify the LCA to allow for a lower drop with the bags. I know this is like asking what's better, a chev or a Ford, but any input is appreciated. Everyone likes pictures, so here is my truck currently.
