Question Hubcap help for 22" transit wheels

Hi all,
I was on the forum a while back and found a thread where someone had mad a tool to make clips fit on the 22" GM transit wheels.

I really want to put hubcaps on mine, and need help with any tips the group might have,

the wheels don't have any holes or bumps on them for hubcaps.

I want to run baby moons or just chevy center caps, does anyone know what fits or know a supplier that could hook me up ?

Re: Hubcap help for 22" transit wheels

There is a guy on Instagram, struggle_55 has what he calls #capclips. Comes with the metal clips, nuts and bolts and templates on where to drill. Runs about $90 for the set.

I'm doing the same thing right now with a set of transit where's. I remembered an old VW I had, had what looks to be similar style of hubcap clips. I ordered a set of those and I'm going to see if they fit. If they do it will save a few bucks.

I know this will sound crazy, but you can mount them with all weather velcro. It absorbs vibration, and will work fine. The front plate on one of my cars has been fine for ten years, I didn't want to drill my custom bumper. Just build whatever spacers you need, JB Weld them to the back of the cap, and mount with velcro to the wheel.

I just saw you pictures on the wheel and tire pictures thread and was wondering how you were planning on mounting those hub caps.

I used struggle_55 clips they work great and you can adjust them to use different ID caps I used the caps for a 68 C10 bought them off a guy on instagram. You just have to adjust the clips so your caps don't fly off while on the road (happened to me last week)...

I doubt this will work the caps take alot of vibration and movements from the road I tried that commercial strength velcro for my kick panels and they are already falling I have to find a different solution so I wouldn't trust it holding my caps on.
