6L with a 6speed

Ok , so planning on a 6L with a 6speed standard tremec , for our 66 ,
The shifter is located at the very rear of the trans , will this palcment work in the 66 or will it be to far back in the cab ? or do I purchase one of those kits to move it to the other location on the trans ? more forward ?
anyone maybe have pics of a similar trans setup in their truck ?

Yes it will sit to the rear of the tunnel, as I am installing a ZF S6 in my 64. Stick will hit under the bench, I went with buckets for that reason. I'll try and get a pic out to you to show.
