No, the Rims are 16x 6.75, I think off a newer Chevy 3/4 ton. Not sure exactly what year, they were in a pile at the junk yard. I love the hubcaps , but I even like the look of the plain steel wheel with the fresh paint.

52napco, If a guy wanted to go with a set of these wheels you're mentioning what years are we talking about here? Do you know there backspacing? And do our era hubcaps fit?

Sorry Tumbleweed, hijack off.

Nice truck !

Y'all got me checking CL everyday trying to hunt up some steel wheels and caps to replace my aluminum wheels on my C-20.

Re: Installed a 2" lift on K20 and a few other things...

Looks really good. I had a 2.5" lift on my last truck and thought it was perfect with 33" tires.

After seeing your photos I'm even more ready to find some steelies and dogdish caps! A friend of a friend is supposedly digging some out of his pile of stuff for me to look at... can't wait!

Looks really good with the lift & steelies/caps- How does it drive with the new tires?

I don't think he would consider your question a hijack it's an honest question. If my memory serves me correctly, the wheels he's talking about are mid 80s to mid 90s.I'm not sure about the backspace but yes our hub caps fit. They're manufactured by Acurride I believe.

Re: Installed a 2" lift on K20 and a few other things...

All years I think even up to 06 still had 8 x 6.5 pattern unlike the truck that went to 8 x 170 mm around 1999. I believe they are approx. 3.5" backspace.

Thank you for the good info. I like the 16x7's and prefer them sucked in a little under the fender. Does 4" or 4.5" back spacing seem right? I'm sifting through the steely wheel threads for pics of what I'm looking for. They would look good with my 255/85R16's.

Thanks Napco!

I couldn't give you an honest answer on the backspacing. I do know they fit great and look great. I also know that our hub caps fit great. I'm going to use after market 9.75x16 on mine because I like the deeper look on mine.

Was gonna go 4" but after seeing your truck maybe 2". Truck looks great. Can't be stock wheels with caps. Just picked up 15x8 for my 69 K10.

Re: Installed a 2" lift on K20 and a few other things...

The late Econoline steel wheels have no hubcap nubs, so watch for that. The Ford 16 x 7s in SAE bolt pattern came from F250 & F350s as well and were used going back into the 7.3 diesel days. The SAE pattern will have Accuride stamped in them. I want to say at least back till '87. I think you can buy new Accurides, the company still exists. But, wheels will be no cheaper than Wheel Vintiques. The 16" GM wheels I have dealt with are stamped 16" x 6".

No worries on the hijacking, I just came here to show off and then bask in the glory of the complements. You guys are my support group. I do all this stuff and my wife just looks at me with a blank stare and shakes get head, it's very unsatisfying. If it turns into something helpful, even better. Please, carry on.
I will say these 16x 6.75, I had to enlarge the hole just a little to fit over the hub. So, maybe they came from something different.
Ol' blue, where you getting those rims you are talking about?

I have been on call for the power company this week, which is like house arrest, so I don't really know yet. The lift is the big difference, it is firm and noticeably bouncier than before. I just drove it down the road about a half mile, and you do notice the flat spots of the bias take a little while to smooth out. I will get a better feel for it this week once I get off call.

Summit carries them, they're made by Wheel Vintiques.

mine was as well when I had the original gas shocks that came with the kit. I swapped them for a set of hydraulics at that eliminated the bounce. I don't know the part number tho.
