Re: Does anyone remember....

Does it work for both heat AND sound or is it noticeably inferior in one or the other?

Re: Does anyone remember....

I don't know if it does anything for heat or not. I tried it inside the doors of my 85 while I had them apart and could easily tell the difference in the way the door sounded after install, so I know it works good for that.

Re: Does anyone remember....

You'll have to calculate based on what areas you want to put it down. I read a thread earlier today where a guy used three rolls in a pickup put he put down two layers on the floorboards and firewall.

Re: Does anyone remember....

Lats quetsion on this. For the firewall area, should I use somethign else which is specifically designed for heat and noise, or have people just used this stuff all over? First time completely redoing the interior of a vehicle so just want to be certain i dont' screw it up and have to redo it later.

Re: Does anyone remember....

You can use it all over. I plan to in mine anyway.
