New/Old Big/Small

Let's see some new vs old side by sides of our trucks.

My '72 sized up to my 2012 Chevrolet 2500HD the size difference is really something.

those pics are yuuuge!! Awesome trucks both of 'em. Your '72 sits perfectly, right where I like the LWB's to sit. What are the suspension details??

Re: New/Old Big/Small

Sorry about the picture sizes, don't know why my image host does that to me sometime.

Suspension details. CCP springs front and back 3" up front 5" out back. It's a good daily driving height. Don't have to worry about bottoming out even on our terrible SK roads.

The 2012 is HUGE next to the 72, but the box is what counts. Thats an itty bitty box on such a large truck...

It must be an optical illusion as the 2500 has a 6'6" box, which is longer than standard.

After looking at this for a bit, you know the one thing I love about old trucks????? Round wheel wells, who was the brilliant design mind who decided to make square wheel wells? End rant.
