Mirror location

I bought some new mirrors for my steside. It had tripod mirrors on it, can someone take a few measurements for me, so I can drill the holes for these mirrors before I paint. Thanks. This is the style of mirror I went with.

Re: Mirror location

Mine are 11" from the leading edge of the door to the mirror post and 1" between the window rubber and the mirror mount cover... the post for the mirror is inline with the frame between vent window and roll up window. I've seen them mounted all over the door though on different trucks..

Re: Mirror location

Why are you going with those and not the smaller sport mirrors?

Re: Mirror location

I have the small sport mirrors on my k10, I think I will put the dumbo mirrors on there, and use the worthless sport mirrors on the stepside.
