I bought my carpet from JC Whitney. It is made by Niffty Products Inc. (NPI) I'm real satisfied with it. The fit and finish was second to none IMO.

Mike,

Is the carpet you purchased from JC Whitney vehicle specific, or is it just a universal fit?

Vehicle specific. Goes all the way from the front to the back wall. Fit like a glove. I'd buy one again in a heartbeat.

I've also heard great things about ACC. I don't see how it could fit any better than mine did though.

i'm getting mine done at a local upholstery shop. then again, i'm running buckets, and i'm gonna fill in some of the contours of the floor in between my seats. i've completely forgotten what the cost was gonna be, since i asked a few months ago, but it was fairly comparable to a molded carpet with better results.

I got mine from ACC, but one thing I did, or should I say they offer, is that I ordered an extra piece of flat carpet which I used to cover the wall / sides behind the back seat. All the way up and slightly tucked under the rear window rubber seal.

That gave it a real nice finished look and I first glued Dynamat sound deadner to the back wall. So it looks like it came that way from the factory and cuts out on some of the noise.

ACC is Auto Custom Carpet and they have been a supplier to the major auto mfgrs. for many years. If you buy from YearOne, etc. you are most likely getting an ACC product, or you can buy from them directly.

They made a name for themselves about 20 years ago when they were one of a few who offered correct 80/20 loop carpet to match the original material for 60's Muscle cars & Corvettes when the restoration craze started.

WHOA!, 75stepside

Hey 75stepside, I just looked into your 75 project website. Wow, I have to tell you that the work you are doing looks fantastic, just terrific. Real attention to detail & workmanship.

I am looking forward to more details and the finished product.
