That '78 will provide lots of good parts. I'd recommend doing the power steering. It sure is nice to have when you're backing into a tight parking spot at a cruise night surrounded by spectators.

And here it is with the new metal all welded in and ground smooth with some paint on it to protect against rain. This one took quite a while to finish despite of how small it is. I admit this one is not 100% perfect but it's still looks pretty good and since its behind the bed it isn't even visible

Thanks tj, I'm trying to get all the rust repair on the back of the cab done soon so I can get the bed back on and clear up some space in the driveway
