Door jamb changes

Did the door jambs change in 71 or 72? In my head I see them basically the same until they added those vent thingies ... is this correct?

Re: Door jamb changes

So basically 67-70 cabs are exactly the same except for the small back window in 67's

Re: Door jamb changes

Basically. The vent was only in some '71s and all '72s. The differences are '67-only dash (except some early '68s), e-brake set-up is 67/68 or 69-72, mirror bump in '71, VIN-plates changed in '70, A/C, headliner, cargo light, clearance lamp options, wiring/fuse block location changed. I think that's it

Re: Door jamb changes

All headliners are the same. It's a difference in the cab. I listed four options together that make a cab differ from the rest.

Re: Door jamb changes

I also believe 69 started putting a location for a door jam switch, Not sure that is the correct starting year but I know 68 doesn't have it and I have seen it on newer cabs,

Re: Door jamb changes

The base truck had no door jamb switch. In Chevys, the 67-70 Customs, 67-70 CSTs, and 71/72 Cheyenne/Cheyenne Supers all got the switch
