Re: 9.5Rx16.5 tires...the price of authenticity

Nice Longhorn !

I got a F*rd 16x7 rim as the spare on mine when I bought it. I thinking of going out to hunt up some more. I have a bunch of little trye shops close to my house.

Thanks Jocko. I like it too and I'm looking forward to fixing more things on it. I like cruising around in it.

To paint your wheels I have a length of metal, could use aluminum flashing, I wrap the ridge of the wheel at the tire and tape to from a circle around the wheel. Then I can just spray away w/o concern for getting any on the tire.

I have to send my sister Miranda a picture of your truck so she can recognize it if she sees you in it. She drives a '66 Ford Galaxy, nothing pretty or restored.

Thanks for the pictures of the Ford wheels on the Chevys. I just picked up five of them at local service station for $75 total. Previous owner put 16.5/33.12.5 tires on my project 70 Chevy K20. It is great to know that the dog dishes fit those rims. Not a PC (Period Correct) guy when it comes to this restoration but do admire those that put their trucks back to stock condition.
