steering column

Does anyone know how to remove the ignition actuator rack? The rod to it came off and I can't get the actuator out. I heard something about a special tool. Thanx

Re: steering column

I tore mine apart to tighten the 4 column bolts but it's been awhile since then.

I did buy a pivot pin removal tool and rented some items from Autozone.

do a search on youTube and I think there are some tips how to get into the steering column. I changed my ignition switch, and blinker mechanism while I was in there.
