Post 68 1 ton and parts

Went and looked at it today. Front clip is off except for rad. support. Has new inner fenders and nice outer fenders (no rust) that are sittin in the cab. Cab is off a 70 4x4, has air, no compressor though. New rockers, supports and corners. Engine fresh build from a local shop, straight 6 292? Springs look like they could hold a house. Flatbed comes with it, made from 1/4" diamond plate with square tubing for frame and supports. Comes with 2 extra rearends, 2 68 hood, one is junk, 2 70 hoods, 2 doors, at least one is junk, couldn't see the other real good, 2 extra rearends, extra windshield. Chasis is done, front clip needs put on and front brake lines need hooked up. Guy wants $1600 and he'll deliver. What do you all think? Sorry, no pictures.

Sounds pretty good to me but I don't know what all you would have to do to get it tagged. In Kansas they check the frame and vin plate to check serial #'s. You might have to get a builders title. Good luck.

Thumbs up

I would buy a rear end from you if it was a 3.07 ratio. Sounds like a pretty good deal though.
