71 C30 diff leaking
Hi all,
I purchased a seal to change on diff because it is leaking a little. When I removed everything, there was no seal. The seal I bought wont fit in the pocket and I cannot figure out why there was no seal. There is a seal inside when I remove the plate with 5 bolts, but I saw a pic and there is not seal. Is this possible no seal on the outside? See pics Thanks in advance, Marc-Andre |

Once you remove the yoke there should be a seal there and if your don't fit you have the wrong one. Jim

What was the number on the seal. My Napa seal book shows a 25970

I got it, Had to take off the seal shield with the 5 bolts and it was behind the reflector.
All done and ok. |
