FI Tech Fuel Command Center Pictures?

Does anyone have pics of how they installed the Fuel Command Center in a 60-66?

I am looking at doing one, but not sure how this will wind up looking and where to mount it.

If you are converting to EFI, I would hope that you will also upgrade the alternator to an internally regulated higher amp alternator. I think the EFI will almost require a higher amp and a more steady voltage within the electrical system.

Re: FI Tech Fuel Command Center Pictures?

I'm glad I made the upgrade.
I struggled with carburetors and ethanol gas.
Now I have no issues.
The truck sits for 4-5 weeks and one turn of the key and it starts right up.
I don't know what I'm getting for mileage because my odometer is broke. But I do think I'm getting better mileage because the gas gauge needle doesn't seem to be dropping to empty as fast.

Re: FI Tech Fuel Command Center Pictures?

I would convert to a CS130 or CS144 alternator. There are many, many threads on those conversions in the Electrical section of this forum. There may also be links in the '60-'66 FAQ index at the top of the forum page.

Re: FI Tech Fuel Command Center Pictures?

Just got an email back from Fi Tech.

They said a stock alternator with external regulator would have no bearing on how the EFI system performs.
