I have had best results spraying starting fluid (ether) at suspected areas, throttle shaft at sides of carb, base gasket, vacuum connections etc. Spray a spot and wait 5 or 10 seconds before spraying the next spot. |

Yes to checking the tightness of screws. I have not tried starting fluid around gaskets Etc. I'll give it a shot. if the floats are adjusted too high, would that cause the engine the engine to run rough at the initial Rev.. I can feel it in my steering wheel just sitting there another way to describe it would be like an engine not firing on all 6 cylinders until the RPMs pickup.
