Cab leaks when it rains, dont know from where.

Dealing with this for about a year and a half and im fed up with it. Truck just got back from paint and body where i thought the leak would have been taken care of but nope. This started after i put a new antenna in and wont stop. I just recently had a facroty antenna put in with the rubber boot and put glue around it and it leaks worse than ever. Ill post pictures of where it leaked ghis mornibg which causes me to think its not the antenna cause the antenna hole is to well sealed now for it to be that. Also there was just new windshield rubber put on and all rust was taken car of, the roof was also re sealed. Someone please help me before i take a tire iron to this thing. (Not really)

Though I walk through the valley in the shadow of rice i will fear no turbo, for torque art with me. Thy rods and thy crankshaft, they comfort me.

Also someone said it could be the hole directly below the a pillar. Chances of it being that? (Picture is not my truck) (picture below this post)

Have you checked the drain behind the vent ? It Looks like your windshield gasket is leaking , use flow grade windshield sealant on both outside edges of the gasket , lifting them with a non marrying glass tool or just a popsicle stick with the sharp edges sanded off to lift the gasket edges enough to use the sealant ,of course you would want to protect your new paint using low tack masking tape .it's probably coming in from the top of the windshield at the body seam and flowing in . An easy trick to find the leak is to cut strips of white paper and insert them from the inside of the truck into the inner gasket edge then run a hose over the truck the paper will reveal the leak .

Make sure that when the new windshield and gasket were put in that sealant was applied to the upper corners. You need to apply sealant in the corners, six inches across and down on both sides on the outsides. I found this out after I installed a new windshield and gasket. Started leaking after the first rain. After sealing, the leak stopped.

take your glove box out. see if it coming from above or below glove box. could be windshield or the area around the heater a/c box. mine is leaking somewhere in the vent area.

The hole below the pillar that you posted a picture of is where the antenna wire goes into the cab, and has a grommet on the wire to plug the hole. Is this not where your antenna wire enters?

It is, and i know the water is not getting through there. I was talking about the hole directly below the a pillar not the one to the right of it.

Re: Cab leaks when it rains, dont know from where.

there is a spot under the cowl on both sides that collect debris that is very had to see and almost impossible to get to without cutting. to find it on my truck I put a water hose in the cowl and crawled under the dash. to fix it I had to cut a window for access
