Question Intellitronix guage

hey, i just bought this set up. i have a conversion to a 94 drive train. anyone know what wire from the ecm i hook up to the speedo. i read the vss wire i tried the brown and drk blue wire in the blue side connector. the blue didnt register any speed and the brown said i was doing over 160mph when i was barely crawling. i tried the original light blue wire with black stripe from the 94 instrument cluster plug it did not work either.
thanks in advance

I always thought the vss wire came straight from the transmission? I'm interested in this thread cause I plan on installing those gauges in my truck too...

I have a 4l80e but Im not up to the point of putting it in yet still collecting parts. Just interested in finding out the answer to your question too in case I run into the same problem.
