The start of the long bodywork/painting process:
Take sheet metal down to bare steel, fix all cancer and questionable areas but keep any dents, creases and dings. Paint 4 colors as a 'base' and cut down to get background feel. Then use translucent browns to soften and tie in all metal. Finally, lay down a few coats of a matte clear to seal it up. Interior will be done in a fawn type shade without any distressing... basically, the interior will look like it is a preserved time capsule. We'll see how it pans out over the next few months. Chassis will be a complete Pro Touring type set-up. Only a few hours done of many more to come... Also... looking for a nice non-metallic fawn if anyone has any ideas?
