Haven't been here in a while! With my new Squarebody
Hey guys . Haven't posted since I sold my 70 c10, but I have a new toy! I bought a 1987 2wd Chevrolet Pickup (Are these still called C10s?) . Its pretty solid, with a 305 and 700r4 (I think, Auto with OD) Truck currently runs and drives great. Heres what I want out of it. I want it to be daily driver capable, Also while Pulling My ranger bass boat. I want to do about a 4/6 drop (Im thinking) and would like to be able to run truck rallies for the time being and then maybe later down the road be able to run 20s. You guys tell me what I can or can't do. Tell me how you tow with yours? Will i need a C notch? All help is appreciated. Anyways here are some pics!

Nice truck! I agree on the drop, disagree on the wheel recommendation above. Leave the stock ones on.

Very nice truck. Looks solid . I've always had lifted trucks but one day would like to have a lowered short box

IMO, that truck is too nice-looking to get lowered with 20s. But, hey, I'm old skool.

Re: Haven't been here in a while! With my new Squarebody
A 4/6" drop & 20" wheels are easily reversed if the next owner prefers. The truck will tow w/that drop.
Worst case you could add a simple manual filled Air-over-Leaf set-up if necessary.

Re: Haven't been here in a while! With my new Squarebody
20s would rob that truck of its cache.

Re: Haven't been here in a while! With my new Squarebody
Nothing wrong w/15" ralleys or 20" wheels. Both CAN look good but aren't guaranteed to do so. Each need the right back-space & tire size.
