Im sliding a shortbed frame under my 1968 c10 equipped with a 3spd manaul trans. The shortbed frame has an automatic transmission crossmember bolted to it. I unbolted it and cut the rivits off my 3 spd trans crossmember in the longbed, lined it up on the shortbed frame and there are no holes for it (unless i got it on backwards).

Should there be predrilled holes in the crossmember for a 3 spd/manual trans member?

When you say "predrilled holes in the crossmember", which crossmember are you referring to? Did you mean predrilled holes in the frame?

Figured it out. The swb 1969 frame has holes for auto and manual transmission crossmembers.
