Re: Who makes the tubular center frame kits???

Welder Series has one. Since they are in Canada you benefit from the exchange rate.

It's listed at $310 Canadian. That's $236 US.

Us Canadian guys get the short end of the exchange rate the other way so I always try to support Canadian vendors.

Re: Who makes the tubular center frame kits???

I put the Progressive Automotive one on my '46. I was extremely pleased with the ease of installation and the quality of it, the kit coming with the brake pedal and booster setup... but GEEZ it hurt in the pocket

Thats a very nice setup and looks pretty simple and for a GREAT Price... US or CAN! - The exchange thing goes both ways... I recall our US gas prices from about 2 years ago that were approaching $5 a gallon here in CAL.... brought on by the Canadian Petroleum industry taking full advantage of the market place. So we "southerners" took it in the shorts pretty heavily on your behalf. Totally different subject

Anyhoo - thanks for the tip!

YEAH!!!! I guess so! I looked at that and said NOPE.... and then saw PB prices!!!! OMG!!!! all nice stuff for everyones tastes and costs... but theirs seems EXTREMELY overbuilt and way too much cost. and its ONLY BOLT ON!

I like simple, I like smooth lines, and I like it to function for the least amount of cost. Thanks everybody - I think I found my product!

Re: Who makes the tubular center frame kits???

bolt on just means there are really nice flanges to weld them on once you get them placed. you can even screw them to the frame first so they don't move when welding. haha.
