Drum to disc conversion

Howdy folks, working on a 67' GMC 1 ton dually truck. I know that I can do a conversion by using the control arms and spindles off of a 73-87 GMC/Chevy, I was wondering though, can i use 3/4-ton spindles and arms on my 1-ton? I'm really having trouble finding c30 stock height spindles online (not a whole lot of time to go and take them off another truck). I find c20 conversion kits much more abundant.

That's two different questions. You ask if you can use C10 parts because C20 kits are much more common.

Which is it... do you have a good source of 3/4T parts (C20) or just half-ton stuff? I can imagine you might get away with 3/4T pieces, but not 1/2T...

My bad, I fixed it. Yeah, I was just asking if I can use 3/4T parts. Has anyone done it?

i dont see why not. change the control arms, springs, spindle and steering linkage. and brake lines i dont think it would be a issue. but ive only done half tons.

I've only done 3/4T parts, but I did them on my longhorn frame. If I understand correctly my frame is the same as every other 133" 1T frame, so that tells me in theory that 3/4T parts bolt up and work with the 1T frame.

That's just a theory, someone with mechanical knowledge of these frames can hopefully chime in.
