1970 longbed build

hi guys. now its finally stopped raining over here and it's time to get the truck back out the garage. I have spent about 7 months rolling around underneath the truck (I also did some work on it too! :p ) here's a few pictures of when I bought it

so many years worth of that nebraska soil etched on to everything. the dirt soaked up every bit of oil it ever leaked which made for a pretty good rust preventer :p except for the springs

fresh paint on the firewall. took a couple of attempts to get a white that was actually white though

rubbed the entire frame down by hand with the cab and bed still on! there was soo much dust!! painted with some real thick chip resistant paint
