Steering column plug? Need Help.
I'm trying to install my new column and can't get the plug from the wiring harness to the steering column to mate. Do I have the wrong plug on either side? I cant get them to line up.

looks like the end wires need to move down a cavity to line up?

Re: Steering column plug? Need Help.
At first, I didn't notice the two plugs on top of each other, You might have to get a used connector from a salvage yard and change the pins from the new plug provided, out to the old connector.
I know in most situations the adapter GM sells that mates the flat long connector you have to the "Half Moon" original style, as do most of the vendors here on the board, it's about $10-$20.......not sure who would have a new connector for the newer style flat connector. might try M&H Electrical Fabricators. Re: Steering column plug? Need Help.
one more thing, did you buy an aftermarket wiring harness? it should have came with all the mating connectors, if not, you might call the supplier or company that made it...

Re: Steering column plug? Need Help.
I found an extra plug, like the one on your harness. If you would like me to send it to you, send me a PM with your info....
here are a few pics... Ben

Re: Steering column plug? Need Help.
Thank you for the offer. I found a connector at work and it is the same one you have. Came home and it plugged right in
