Leaving Las Vegas

After much turmoil on wether to buy a roller or " project " I opted on a running truck & searched for the 1 with a clean body & the right components . Rolled the dice & it turned up in Vegas . 69 SWB with original paint , spent most of its life in SoCal , small block , 700R4 , 6" & 4" , 20,s , low option truck but with factory pin strip . Flew in Saturday a.m. & on the road at 2 with a permit & full tank . At the border last night & its tucked away in garage now . Didnt miss a (heart) beat ! A few minor things to deal with to pass inspection & on the road . Having built a 72 2 wdr blazer from ground up in my younger years I'm a little relieved with a runner . I'm trying to determine what small block its sporting . Later model with ribbed valve covers . Stamped code # 1M0812 & below that 4C34 . Any ideas ? Pics to follow .

Re: Leaving Las Vegas

Don't really want to paint it , all original paint except maybe 1 fender . Will try & clean up the burnt roof & wax it or maybe clear coat . Box is super straight .
