Found some more trucks this weekend...sharing the pics

Yeah, pretty much. Said it was his fathers and he passed. Hasn't moved since 1997. I'm sure it was in better shape 20 years ago when it was parked. But it's been exposed to the elements with no cover and hasn't faired well. The bed sides are separating from the rust as is every other panel. Was a bare bones truck with the side trim. Had warning lights for a cluster and an aftermarket seat. But the interior holes have allowed water to seep in and there is missing vent glass on the pass side....just been exposed to open elements far too long.

I just don't see it as salvageable as you'd have to replace almost every piece of metal and still no VIN plate.

I passed on a similar truck. Guy wanted $1500 and the truck had no title or driveline. Had a good fleet short bed and some trim. Parts truck. Worth $800 max as it had custom SW and decent side trim and wheels. Your man will eventually sell it for scrap as I excpect that's what happened to the one I saw. As you already know (wink wink) there are still a few good finds out there.

Oh yeah....they are out there. Was glad you went are looked at the 63 for me. Will be even happier to start work on it in a few months.

And I agree.....I think he'll realize that it won't command $2200. Realistically.....I saw maybe $300-400 in parts if you took the time to part what was salvageable. I think he has more sentimental attachment with it being his fathers. He also told me that he had a buddy who could sandblast and bondo all the areas for another $4500. Truck would have 1000lbs of bondo by time they covered (not fixed) the issues.

I bet that they are asking a lot for it ... if it would be a descent price, it shouldn't be to bad ( hence the word " shouldn't " )

Not a truck but passed this semi with a nice 56 on the back. Had my niece snap a few pics as we went by it.

This truck was in a shop I frequently pass. They were recharging the A/C.
I left my number and hope the owner will call me. I want to ask about the one piece door windows (no vent in the door). The color is silver and metalic gray. It had a SBC and a rack & pinion steering. Notice that the dash has been shaved and with what looks like a GPS or DVD screen. Cab had only 2 A/C vents. Torque Thrust rims. Very nice truck.
