17" tire sizes?

I bought some 17 x 9 wheels for my 71 C20. Need some help finding tires now. It's lowered 3" in front and 5 in back. Any ideas where I can find a decent street tire- don't want a mud/snow tire.

Thanks!!

Re: 17" tire sizes?

I put SUV tires on my short bed. They have car style on road tread but heavier load rating that true passenger car tires. Mine are Hankooks but I forget the model.

235 55 17 on 17x8 in front is 27" tall and 275 55 17 on the rear on 17x 9 wheel which is 29" tall.

My opinion is the one mistake people make when lowering the truck is going with too short a tire.
