Gas tank relocation

Has anyone who has relocated their gas tank to behind the rear axle on a 60 to 66 Chevy c10 placed the filler access behind the licence plate? Is there enough angle to do that?

Re: Gas tank relocation

Too low. Bad angle. But have seen a tube to inside stake pocket, pretty cool. To include top of bed hole and side of post.

Re: Gas tank relocation

What license plate...that would ruin my rollpan

My cell just fills from a port in the bedfloor. Easy enough.

Re: Gas tank relocation

I'm planning on doing mine this way when I'm in the next stage of the build. I am keeping an eye out for a Camaro or Nova tank since those were setup to fill behind the license plate from the factory.

Hot Rod did one in a 68
