My dad always says that HEI distributers are pointless...
•1972 Custom/10 Deluxe. My first truck and I've had it since I was 7. Tilt, tach, AM/FM, 350, deep dish rally's, original paint and an increasing amount of NOS jewelry. It's always taking my money..
•1967 c10 with tach, dropped 3/5 on deep dish rally's
•1972 Cheyenne Super. Sold

Special-K I'd like to see a picture of one of the crates you built for a tailgate that weighed <100lb. Not that I don't believe you, but I'd like to know how to build them in the future.

I used 2x6 framing, 1/2" OSB sides and 1" foam liner (which weighs almost nothing). The gate I shipped was from a 2012 Escalade EXT, which is thinner sheet metal than our trucks used, and with the crate the weight was 130lb on Greyhound's scale. Now maybe the guts of that Escalade gate made it heavier than a 67-72 gate, but I don't know...

Compare prices. I found FedEx was cheaper than GH on crated TG.
