need pic of jack in stored position
my dad had a 72 that his dad bought new in 72. he sold it around 80 or 81 i think. since that time i havent seen a 67-72 that even had the original jack with it. so i am wondering exactly how it
gets stored. can someone make a picture of theirs for me? i need to see how it is stored behind the seat. thanks tony

Most of the ones that I have seen have the jack stored in the depression that is behind the seat on the passenger side on the floor with a spring and a round clasp and the handle is stored with the spring contraption inside the passenger door jamb. I do not have a pic right now but I have seen the entire original jack handle and pieces and they came in a foam bag. Here is a pic of the original jack and bag. I am not sure of the year of this item and I do believe that the jacks were different designs over the years. I may not have got you the pic you requested but at least I will get you post back to the top.

I can't honestly answer that question, it was a pic I lifted from TX Gary’s web page. I know he has some duelly's and larger trucks (C-30's) and it might be something to do with one of them. Looks as though you could use it to remove a tire from a wheel for a roadside repair. Or maybe something to do with split rims. These are just assumptions as I am really not sure what purpose a straight lug-wrench would have if in fact that's what it is. The pic from Demi show's the jack upside down from the way I normally store mine, maybe I have been doing it wrong?
