Re: Another New Product: Billet Aluminum 205 Shift Knob-Limited Production

Update on the latest special order production run:
---Order went to the manufacturer last Tuesday.
---Normally takes about two weeks for setup & run.
---Then they will be shipped to me, where I will break them down & reship them to you.
Everything is "moving along" well! thanks, frank

They are done! Way early! I shipped most out today.

Here's pic of the 4spd knob and here's a pic of one I polished with a little compound on a bench grinder and fine pad/wheel. Wow! They look good!

How do these look? If you got a wrong one, I am sending another correct replacement. You do not have to return the wrong one. Maybe you can find an emblem or just sand off the engraving and find a use.
thanks, frank

Frank will the floor plate for the 4spd mount up to the stock location? I ask because from the looks of my current one apears to have an angle to it...I don't think a flat one like yours will just mount up unless I'm wrong, but I'll let you answer that.

Too late, it shipped today! That's why I posted a pic. You may have to resell it.

Just received the 4spd shift knob and floor plate, they look great!! Now only if I could figure out how to have the shift pattern end up right side up?

Re: Another New Product: Billet Aluminum 205 Shift Knob-Limited Production

Got mine yesterday, thanks again Frank! They'll look great once I've got the interior done.

To vweater2001, try using a thin jamb nut under the shift knob. Screw down the knob to where you're happy with it then run up the jamb nut and snug it down.

Thanks spudly, I'll try that tonight and see if that'll work (I'm sure it will).

I've got some variations on the 4spd: knobs & rings. I'll put them in a separate thread so this one doesn't get too confusing...

Hello Frank,

Just stumbled on this post. Will you be doing another parts run in the future for the NP 205, boot retainer and knob? If so I would be interested. Thanks, Mike
