1966 C10 Disc break upgrade
going with the Western Chassis upgrade to disc with 2.5" drop spindles. Was told their deluxe kit comes with 73-87 tie rods and ball joints. Was told i can reuse my original center link. how about the idler and pitman arms?

Re: 1966 C10 Disc break upgrade
Since the pitman and idler arm connect to the draglink, those will be fine. I am assuming you are staying with manual steering? The '73-'87 inner tierods will not work with the '63-'66 draglink. I believe you will have to use the '66 outer tierods with those aluminum tierod adapters to make this work. I'm not exactly sure in what tierods to use as the inners as I have never done it that way. I always used the entire '73-'87 steering linkage. It is a whole lot simpler.

Beware. They will tell you lots of things for a sale. Research, research and more research.

Why screw around with a kit that is supposed to "work". Just order a kit from Early Classic Enterprise specifically for your '66 and not deal with issues of mismatched parts.

Western Chassis is the same company as POL and their equipment works well. As far as Power Steering you can buy Captainfab's power steering bracket and save about $300 bucks yourself there.
