I recall a post that had pictures of chevy trucks with the name "Chevrolet" stamped into the tailgate sheet metal in Arabic.

Does anybody else recall that post.

I have done a search and cannot find it.

Can anybody help?

Not to say it doesn't exist, but I have not seen it. I just got back from Kuwait last night (been there several times) and there was a sweet 80's GMC stepside at the airport. Like a old city dept truck. I always look for classics when I am there and never ran across any in Arabic.

Just be careful the guy you hire to paint "Chevrolet" in Arabic on the tailgate doesn't play a nasty trick on you and paint this instead.

Not a tailgate pic, but one I snapped of my '71 Jimmy in Mesa AZ, 10 years ago on the set of "The Kingdom", a picture with Jamie Fox/Jennifer Garner, supposed to be set in Saudi Arabia. For security reasons most of it was shot in the Phoenix area in the Summer. Only 118*F, much cooler than the real location.

The numbers on the plate are supposedly 3-5-0, but I am Arabic-Illiterate.
