TransGo 2&3 install help. Type 2 VB

Hey guys, I'm in the middle of installing a TransGo 700 2&3 kit on my 700R4 Type 2 VB), I'm hoping to finish installing mine the next chance I get out to the shop and just have a couple questions before buttoning it up. These instructions can be a bit confusing.

First thing that stuck out is that there is a check ball included in the kit, it's a bit bigger than the check balls I pilled out of the valve body and also has a copper finish to it or similar. There weren't any check balls like this already installed and the instructions don't mention it anywhere. Where does this go and is it used for anything?

Second question is regarding the PR Valve and spring. I remember seeing something somewhere on another forum saying to leave the PR alone, to not grind off the land or chance the spring. When I went to look again where I found this I was unable to find the post again so just wanted to double check to see if any of you have any incite on this.

This would be regarding the Int/Rev bushing. This is found on the first page, and beside this picture of the bushing it has an arrow pointing to the lower part of the bushing and says "Apply hole" What on earth does this mean? Am I suppose to drill a hole through the bushing?

Any other tips or pointer would be appreciated. This is the first time i'm rebuilding a valve body, I've already taken it completely apart, cleaned it, reassembled it with the new parts, just wanted to check these few things before buttoning everything up.

Thanks in advance
