Gumby, to me, the best truck on the board. C/10 King nailed it, he captured the very essence of what drives us all to love these old trucks. In this configuration (again, to me) it's perfect.

What color interior? I usually start there and chose a paint around that.

Cinnamon tan Allante interior 1 visor , black rubber mat ,restored 67 satin black powder coated vent windows green glass with standard no trim windshield / rear window gaskets original am radio , fleet bed 292 with a floor shift M22 Muncie and 3.73 Posi heavy front sway bar and I'm going to look at it once assembled and decide on. Maybe 2-4 spring drop ? , just a fun truck to drive around town , and with the mud on the farms and sand at the beach = no carpet !

Now to decide on pinstripe color I'm thinking a darker red to match the shock color ?

Re: the 67 farm truck is ready for paint ! vote and post why ?

I could have said '67 light green just as easy. Does that help? The dark green would probably look best with the interior color, or lt yellow (IMvery humbleO)

If it wasn't for your choice of interior color, which is very cool, I'd suggest one of the schemes I have dreamed up. I can't seem to build anything these days and it frustrates me to have so many designs in my head and not be able to carry them out. I design trucks to project certain vibes for certain purposes, just like the shop truck fad, which is nothing new to me. My '67 will be an era correct hot truck work in progress. I have a beach truck designed involving some of the colors mentioned. Don't get to the beach much these days either, but it got in my blood. Also, the colors would be good for my woman to drive anywhere we live.

Both colors "we" mention here really set off the green tint. To be different, I considered the color that was on the original '67 GMC front clip that got me going '67 GMC with the shortbed... Palomino Tan! No, it's not pink, AIGHT!? More like salmon or peach. Put it with gun metal grey and you will see, like the tri-fives had. Grey would work for interior and so would your choice of interior color (w/o the grey 2-tone). I like to go with color combos you found on cars of the era. Like gold on gold you see in Chevelles.

I ended up acquiring a black roll & pleated set of buddy buckets and after dreaming up some cool color combos, I'll end up going down easy street with black. Should look good with Red Oxide. My first ride was that combo in HS before I got up the funds to paint. So, a bit of nostalgia factor for me (and it was in this era!)
