Ball joint spacer/washer question

Hello all,
Buttoning up my JW Rod Garage IFS. Final install. On the upper and lower control arms supplied, came a steel washer/spacer. Lower is thicker than upper. Not sure if these go onto ball joint first, or after as a spacer under the nut.
This is probably a dumb question, but im not sure. Thanks if anyone can shed light.

Re: Ball joint spacer/washer question

They are washers that go next to the nut.

Naturally! I put them on the ball joint studs and then tried to put spindle on.
Boy, am I an idiot!
Thanks...
