Re: Just Bought a 69 K20

Great truck there. I bet that front fender could be messaged back into shape at the right body shop as well as the bent sheetmetal in the back area. None-the-less...enjoy it and take care of it.

Thanks! I sure love it!

The front fender was hit so hard there are two tears in it, so figured it should just be replaced. Bumped into a guy, that knows a guy that restores these trucks, found his place "take this road, find the driveway with two orange cones, and drive way back to the shop" and he's painting one up for me. He has whole trucks, frames, cabs, beds and much more!!!

I'll be looking for a paint-less dent repair guy soon for the bed!

Welcome aboard. Very nice K20 find. Doesn't look like it needs very much.

Nice truck and welcome to the boards.
My 69k20 isn't as nice as yours but they could be twins.
Was yours born in Fremont?
Enjoy!

Yes, mine is a Fremont truck too. Can you share a picture of your truck?
I saw a few threads about the Graffiti found on the Fremont trucks, put there by the painters. I have what looks like a faint "S" on each side of my firewall that looks like it was scribed into the paint by hand...
