If you notice the ice- cicles on the truck, that means it got warm. We hit 35 degrees today, no hat, no gloves. Its a regular heatwave!!! I'd like to say you get used to it, but -30 WITHOUT wind chill is tough.

ratio

have any tags at least on the diffs? I was hoping to get the ratio info from ya. Someone told me from 67-72 4.11 is the lowest ratio there was, is this true? Does she run on all 8?

Randy yea,yea,yea rub it in!!
Trucks, it seems to run on all 8, but runs out of gas. It hasn't been run for a couple years, and i haven't put much time into it, but it does run. i will have to look tomorrow on gear ratio. it is half ton so should be 3:08 or maybe 3:73. The title is 68 2wd but has front disc brakes so i know stuff is not original.
Canadian 69, For the right $ it is for sale without the turbines. If "trucks" does not want it should i let you know??

so

So this includes a front and rear end with the same ratio, or just the back? I would need both. Thanks for investigating

Tag on front looks like 3:73, Can't get under the back yet with all the snow and water. It is supposed to get down to 0 degrees tonite, so i will see if i can get under there when it freezes.

good

3.73 sounds nice, if you figure this stuff is a bolt on pretty much, which it should be being they are both 68's even though ones a gmc and ones a Chevy.

I'm getting closer to going with this.

Would my 2wd '72 pull this beast of yours with a dolly? Are dollys wide enough to fit a 4x truck?

As far as i know, it should bolt in. Maybe we can get some input from other members? On the dolly thing, i couldn't tell you. I use a car trailer or rollback if needed. I don't see why your truck would not pull it.
