Trim Parts vinyl floor

Are the Trim Parts vinyl floors really this bad or do I have the wrong piece?

According to the box, this is the high hump floor for 67-72 trucks which is what I need. It is WAY oversize and the "pre molding" just don't seem right. I also have a new rubber floor ( a old one from lmc I think) it fits like a glove. Here is a pic of the two. Obviously the one that actually fits is on top.

It's cheaper for them to build a generic one size fits all ( tank in cab - tank removed from cab ) product than one that has all the cutouts and factory fit . They make you do all the work trimming and once you cut it you own it 😁

I thought they were the same company? Does ACC even sell a rubber floor? I don't really have a big problem doing a little trimming, but since the mold doesn't seem right or hardly even there, I'm not really sure where to start. I hate to start let's say with it centered and find out all the extra is in the back. In that picture I sort of thought that I could detect a spot where the ridge by the front seat bolts is. I have about two and a half extra inches in the front and almos fifteen inches in the back!

This would be nearly impossible if you didn't have something to use as a template.

I wouldn't use it. It appears to be a generic "one size fits all". I would be surprised if you would be happy with the end result... after tons of work to get there.

The mat that is laying on top in my picture in the op, is a mag like the one you have shown. Yeah, it fits like a glove, even looks better in my opinion. It's just a tad thin for my liking though. Definitely thinner than the vinyl. Also I wanted something to cover under the seat. I dyna-matted the whole floor and wanted to cover that.

The vinyl one, the one that doesn't fit good is made in the USA. I think I'm not going to use it and am going to contact the company about it.

I put DynaMat on the whole floor. If I use the other one? Not sure what to do about under the seat. Just leave it bare DynoMat, or should I find something to cover it?
