Will a 73-87 bench seat from a truck bolt in? What are the differences?

Re: Bench seats

I think members have to be at least a "Premium Member" to ask to buy things and there is a parts forum on this website where bench seats are advertised for sale.

I don't believe so. The floors are drastically different. Late 70's are raised where 67-72 are pretty level. Floor in the early to late 90's went flat again. So that's why you tend to see those seats in our trucks. (I've have a 71 and have had a 74 & 89 so I'm some what familiar)

Hope that helps.

Re: Bench seats

This doesn't really answer your question but may give you an idea of the work required to installed a later bench seat in your truck.

Post 19 shows the modifications to the seat bracket to get it to work the way he wanted in his truck. I think he said the seat was out of a 99 truck.

Re: Bench seats

I was going to say something but it isn't necessary.....I see an admin has gotten involved and fixed the original post.

So you see, I did address his original question.
