No self adjuster for 1962???

Hey all,

After tearing down my rear drum brakes I noticed there was no self adjuster and cable. Looking at the LMC catalog, there is a kit offered but it is only for 64-66. Being new to this year of truck is that how it was back in the day?

That's right. Self adjusting brakes started in 63 on passenger cars. Trucks 64?

I think you can add them to the 60-62 drums.
