1963 Chevy ignition switch
It is time to replace my ignition switch. I have searched the forum and found a couple of threads on this but they are older, and don't include part numbers. I looked online at LMC, Jim Carter, Ecklers, etc. and found a couple but the shipping is crazy to Canada.
Who manufactures a direct replacement switch that is correct for my truck? Greg.

Re: 1963 Chevy ignition switch
Do you take day trips to the U.S.?
Some vendors offer free shipping within the U.S. and charge double or triple to Canada. Understandable they are a business and the government is looking for their taxes. I use KineK to receive packages for me then cross over to retrieve them. I of course declare them at the border. We were having them shipped below Ontario since were so close to the NY, On. and Qc. triad, till they wised up there were so many Quebec'ers returning via Ontario to avoid the Quebec sales tax. Crossing in Ontario we'd pay the Duty, then are supposed to pay the Quebec sales tax once the goods enter Quebec. Usually we combine multiple package retrievals with personal shopping and some American fast food. I'd also go to the Big Box stores like Home Depot and Lowes to see what's new and different. $5.00 per item is there fee. Found a KineK in Alexandria Bay On. that has a lift truck service $27.00 fee. They'll accept engines and such. My preferred way of shopping. https://www.kinek.com/find-a-kinekpo...rProvinceId=55

Re: 1963 Chevy ignition switch
You never find a scrap truck with the keys still in it so I never took any.
Bill's Truck Parts in Caledon? Post in the Parts Board under Wanted in Canada. 1116634 is the original part number. 1963-66 Chev Truck also 65 Buick Standard Mfg. US31 RockAuto replacement with key. 3 remaining http://www.rockauto.com/en/partsearc...Bswitch%2C4700 Now 1 remaining at RockAuto, I bought 2 at that price.
