Re: Big Block built complete and dyno tested
They are cast heads with the big breather valves in them. Didn't really need to run aluminum to get to those numbers.

Re: Big Block built complete and dyno tested
Ok guess I should have been more specific. What casting # heads,oval/rectangular port? I'm in the process on putting together another set of 353049 oval ports. I read you put(big breather valves) in are they bigger than 2.19/1.88's .I would like to try and stuff 2.25 intake valves in this set , but hesitant?

Re: Big Block built complete and dyno tested
I have a set of Trick Flow 340 Rectangular ports that I'm not using if anyone wants to go hardcore!

Re: Big Block built complete and dyno tested
Not Quite sure why your not using those. look very good. I have not gone into the 6,000 rpm plus on a big block yet so don't really need the rectangle ports. Someone else might be drooling though! I'm after house and stump pulling torque!

Re: Big Block built complete and dyno tested
This was for screaming power at the top end on a 500+ inch motor with a blower, definitely a different application! I'd recommend oval ports for 95% of applications too.

Sorry for high jacking your thread, but love those big block Chevy's. still wondering what casting and valve size?? if it's a secret then tell me so!
As for PTC I have ridden in a flat bottom v-drive with a healthy SBC ! like riding a paddleboard with a nitro blown Hemi. That swimsuit was ruined!
