It doesn't look like that is the range of resistance needed for the truck.
There are many sources that say your truck uses a sending unit that varies in resistance from 0 - 90Ω . The stewart warner you listed reads 33.5-240Ω While this is a popular resistance range for the industry. I don't think it will work. My estimation is it will read from 1/3 tank to full where it is full most of the time and when it's actually empty, it will read 1/3 tank. http://static.speedwaymotors.com/ima...ohms_chart.gif |
