72mario, possible taillight fuel filler hinge idea

Did you get your taillight fuel filler figured out yet? Ive got an idea for a hinge. I got this idea off a pull up coffee table top.

Its a crude mockup but I hope you get the idea.

the upper part always stays horizontal, its what you would bolt the taillight to.

That looks like it would work really nice all you would need to do is shorten the back piece a bit. Thanks for thinking about my problem. I found a hinge from a kitchen cabinet that worked out really nice.

Funny to see this back up top and still be around.

I ended up scraping the idea. Tolerances were too tight and would have resulted in paint chipping ariund the taillight opening.

The side marker fill looks like a better option for a lasting option
